A Distant Promise

Have watched an impressive Japanese dorama SP --- A Distant Promise. A story of a grand love torn apart by the waves of history.

This is from a true story of one woman who had waited because she loved, and one woman who said farewell because she loved.

These two women love the same man, who, bolstered by the love of these two women, struggled through the most extreme of circumstances and survived.

During his most difficult time, he met his second woman and lived together until the age of 70 something. The man made two coffins for which he thought he would never be able to return to his own country Japan.

His second wife applied the documents from the embassy and prepared the things he needs, and even filed for divorce for him to return to his first wife, that is his resolution for all these years in his mind.

The most impressive part was when the separation occurred in train station where two old husband and wife might never see each other again.

God still granted the good heart people, eventually 3 of them met together again in Japan.

Love is like a river, never ending as it flows, but gets greater with time!

Love requires a reason or not!?

Am fond of a song, which the lyrics was written, "Loves doesn't require a reason, knowing how to cherish is the key to have true love."

Apparently, other than kinship love, true love requires a reason, even just a petite reason.

Often I got confused will I love a person without a reason, or will anyone love me without any reason?

I like this "knowing how to cherish is the key to have true love".

Cherish comes by both side.

Is it love or getting accustomed?

When lovers and married couples abide by each other for long time. Is it love or getting accustomed?

Often at some gatherings heard friends complain about their boyfriends or husbands, and in the meantime they could affectionately answered the phone from this someone who they have just complained a minute ago. This inconsistent behavior made them as if they are different person!

Likewise, used to see friend complained furiously about her husband, but once her husband showed up, she immediately told me how good her husband is and how good his family is. Her husband happily told me that his wife is a very lucky woman.

Still curious when one is complaining the better half behind, is it describing the love or anger?

If it is love, it should be complement and not complain.

When lovers and married couples abide by each other for long time, is it love or getting accustomed? Maybe both :-) !
