Hokkaido's fish could enable me to eat one more bowl of rice :)

Hokkaido's fish and seafood are another attractive thing to me in addition to flower and air in Hokkaido.

きびなご Kibinago is a small fish closely related to sardines and anchovies, is the member of round herring family....one of my favorites fishes with the taste of vinegar, sesame, little salt and a little sugar. As long as they are small fishes, I love them. Small silver fishes with salmon or Mentaiko 明太子 could enable me to eat one more bowl of rice :)

Tomatoes

I'm not a good cook, but I love to cook food related with tomatoes. I like tomatoes because my grandfater, my grandfather ate tomatoes everyday. All relatives and friends said grandfather's skin was tight and bright, without wrinkles, at that moment grandfater was already nearly 70 years old. Remember in that time had grown some tomatoes in yard. Grandfather would use tree branches to support and grandma made different tomato combinations with other food. Now, when see tomatoes will think of grandfather and buy some tomatoes back home.

Japanese Kiina

Today's rose has my favorite color with beautiful sunshine reflecting on it.

After watching Japanese drama Kiina, the heroine is very beautiful, and the knowledge of physics is worth learning. Heroine's skin is nearly perfect, and her style of performance is lovely. The most important is the logical storyline of physics knowledge.
I love reading Japanese comics, animation and watching drama :)

There's no fat woman in France

Last week, watched TV channel "Discovery Travel & Living", a tour program shows around Paris and said there's no fat woman in France, and French ladies dress well and walk nice.

By looking at the shoes you wear, French people know if you are native French or not.

There was a French couple lived opposite of my house. The wife's hair and nails always got set beautifully from the salon. She enjoyed going shopping with me, she always wears properly. Once both of us like a skirt suit, she told me that is her style in France. I am very much agreed since her elegant appearance is just exactly matched with that skirt suit.

Though I like Mediterranean food more than French food, I always appreciate the elegant present by the French people.

Japanese 明太子Mentaiko sardine

Deeply in love with Japanese 明太子Mentaiko sardine...very delicious...yummy, yummy!! It was so delicious that I forgot to take photos of Mentaiko sardine!!! The photos here are the combination of silver fish mixed with vegetables, and silver fish with seaweed katsuobushi (dried vonito flakes) and sesame.

First time ate Japanese Mentaiko sardine with two seafoods which are my favorite. Japanese company 株式会社テンリョウ 天漁（テンリョウ）重本san introduced me Japanese Shirasu, which is the favorite among Japanese people, and I told him I like the silver fish a bit bigger as well, it was mixed together with seaweed katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) and sesame.

The silver fish mixed with vegetables, they increase much appetite!!

Having nice conversation and good introducing of the product, I also got a big amount with the price I paid. If I have chance, I won't miss out 天漁テンリョウ delicious Mentaiko sardine and other seafood products.

The return of bougainvilleas.

I deeply love bougainvilleas for its strong power to live. The stronger light from the sun, the better it lives.

Once outside my house there lived a weak stem of bougainvilleas. I was sad for its dying life, so I let its weak stem to lay on a bigger tree stem next to it supporting by a wood stick. Afterwards it has back to life.

To me, this bougainvilleas is very precious! Often I like to have a look at this bougainvilleas since it gives great will to live and survive.

Anchovies-butter. Kebab chicken sandwiches

Today is my day off, had a little window shopping. I didn't go to buy the white shirt that I went for twice in Zara :)

The happiest thing today is that I got to eat anchovies-butter and garlic-butter :) It makes me to recall the memory that Italians barbecue anchovies with salts, taste so delicious! Often I prefer to put anchovies in olive oil with salad.
I have seen Italian raw anchovies, to me they look like sardine fishes.

Had 3 small pieces of cakes. In order to keep proper weight, I haven't had sweets for quite long time.

Had ambrosial Kebab chicken sandwiches again the other day. Pita is also my favorite food. At first I planned to have milk rice, but the restaurant didn't cook the milk rice today, so maybe next time.


The appetizer comprises sour cucumber with white carrot. Very delicious but too sour....to sour!!!

Greek & Turkish vine leave rice........

The first time I had vine leave rice was at Dhahran.
Afterwards also had from Greece and Turkey. Turkish Dolma also wraps raisins.
Greek one also tastes great. Some people dislike for tasting sour which Turkish one had lemon juice included. At first I thought the original leaves taste sour.
I love Greek spicy red pepper sauce very much, which is not spicy at all while having nice smell. Mediterranean Sawima tastes delicious as well.
When I was in Dhahran, friends invited me going to Istanbul together, didn't make by that time but I still want to go, not only for its food but also for its architecture and culture.

Time is fleeting, one year passed already. Valentine's Day's coming agian.

Same as last year, I love flowers very very much, but don't send me flowers on Valentine's Day:) Same as last year's reason that flowers are beautiful and gorgeous on Valentine's Day, as well as extremely expensive! The petals blacken and the flowers wither in 2 days, such a pity to see the money to be thrown into the trash can.

A little box of sage or thyme, give me a rosemary pot, or a plant will make me very happy :) At least within 3 months these plants still exist and I can remember by seeing them.

Don't know why, I love flowery fabric and lace very much :) Everytime pass by fabric shops, I'd walk in and get a piece back home. I would sew the lace around the border of the flowery fabric during holidays and put these pieces at where I like :)

What are you waiting for on Valentine's Day?

I'm waiting for Jennifer Aniston ~ ~ ~'s movie "He's Just Not That Into You" :)

I have watched several movies acted by Jennifer Aniston and I like her natural performance.

Have been eating simpler and simpler. I used to enjoy eating sumptuous dishes. Now prefer the dishes with nice harmony colors while not too many food together.

I like the match of mozzarella, beet root with broccoli, and pumpkin soup, thinking it is interesting to have such color match while is eating :)

Without knowing if it's the visual change or for keeping diet, without doubt it could be both :)

I gave her great applauses!!

Saw this pretty lady performing Chinese dancers in the mall, she caught most people's eyes' attention. There are five bowls on top of her head, and she could swirl easily with charming dance. She is one of the performers abroad spreading Chinese culture, all their teams received great applauses!!

Indeed, I also gave great applauses!!

For a achieving such successful and excellent dance, it must be the work accumulated for years!! Her consistant strength is a adorable, I believe throughout her practicing stage it must be difficult! From her, I learned the work can be achieved when we aim so.

God of wealth is holding gold ingots

During Chinese New Year, I Saw these lanterns in a Chinese shop, God of wealth is holding gold ingots, which represents the meaning of this lantern and brings people wealth. Tangerine means good luck due to the same pronunciation.

When I was a kid, Chinese New Year used to be what I expected the most.....hearing the sound of crackers, with the red envelopes from the relatives, it is the cash inside the envelope. Indeed, the cash eventually had to give back to the parents since they also need to give back to other kids.

Although nowadays I don't go back to my hometown to celebrate the Chinese New Year, I still make dumplings by myself :) for getting more fortune :)

I wish all my Chinese friends a very happy Chinese cow year, Gong Xi Fa Cai!!
