Afternoon tea

Walked into Hyatt Erawan Bangkok's Tearoom, was attracted by its classical aesthetic furnishing and adornments.

Beautiful tables are made by bamboo skins or rattans, uneven surfaces reveal the traditional significance.

It's difficult not to like these beautiful tea sets.

A delicate small box was served, it was an earthenware. Opened it up that was sugar bags inside.

Size of the small relish platter is for one person, it is delicate chic. There are satays, fried purple taro,

Thai pork salad (Larb Moo) stuffed into the wax gourd, deep-fried tofu skin, fruits, and western snacks.

Thai traditional coconut-mango sticky rice are served on a beautiful white porcelain dish with a piece of lotus leaf underneath, most likely be drooling over mellow and delicious exquisiteness.

British scones with Thai coconut puddings (Kanom Krok), together with 3 different fruit jams and fresh butter.

This green jam is made of pandan leaves and put on a leaf-shaped tray, particularly assist each other for a perfect match.

Everytime in BKK, here is the place where must go and always wanna go, it's a corner mixed with quiet and exultant.

Chromatic moving

Every time went to Bangkok, where the city is famous for overcrowded traffic, back when the very first uncomfortable noisy feeling up to now viewing Bangkok from the angle of appreciation, perceive Bangkok as having amiable colors.

When this public bus appeared ahead, it looked stunning for the reason that the location has nothing eminent, inasmuch as caught my eyes. It is as pink as Hello Kitty, the girl in apple green and sea blue bikini swimming suit makes people excitedly want to look.

Approaching near, longish buses were all decorated by ravishing advertisements, and there are ice cream bars! Yummy!!

Though unable to read Thai, fruit ice cream bars can be affirmed by the first sight.

Furthermore seafood, after all what kind of product does this advertisement belong to!

After eating high calorie ice cream bars, don't forget to work-out by dumb-bell to keep fit!

I am greatly delighted with this colorful bus!

Heartful for romantic

Thyme is my favorite food plant which has the aromatic smell that I like.
Wrap around the thyme pot by a piece of fabric that has small pink flowers on, this Valentine's gift forthwith turns to be more dainty.

Leave it by the window balcony, sunset light, again the life fills in different color.

This year Valentine's Day has away, wondering Valentine's day has actualized how many couples. This thyme pot and vegetables accompany me and home.

Beautiful apples facilitate thyme to be more brisk.

Sometimes, it's not compulsory to buy romantics deliberately.

Just add some imaginations into life, there will be some little amazement and hilarity happened to be found in many little things.

Cut a beautiful pumpkin into a heart shape.

Make heart-shaped cookies, put small hearts together for myself. Love ourselves as well as cherish ourselves, give ourselves a little exhilaration.

Let our heart fills by colors evermore, with cheerfulness and ardency.

Send Me No Flowers, Valentine!

Valentine's Day is coming. Businessmen think of all kinds of strategies to promote flowers, dinners, and romantic resorts to stay.

Lovers, husband and wife, friends, and families, on this day will wish each other a happy Valentine's Day.

I love flowers very very much, but don't send me flowers on Valentine's Day.

Flowers are distinctively beautiful and gorgeous on Valentine's Day, as well as extremely expensive. The petals blacken and the flowers wither in 2 days, such a pity to see the money to be thrown into the trash can.

A little box of sage or thyme, give me a rosemary pot, or a plant will make me very happy. At least within 3 months these plants still exist and I can remember by seeing them.

One friend's husband bought a big flower bouquet before the sunset on Valentine's Day and asked to deliver immediately to his wife's office. His wife and her colleagues saw the flowers were drying up, knowing her husband's frugal habit and this bouquet must had been given 30% discount. The more she realized, the more she got upset, so on her way back home she threw the flowers away.

The same scene happened for several friends, and they felt they didn't receive good enough attention from either boyfriend or husband.

No flowers nor diamonds, I can't see too small diamond, I dare not to receive too big ones, better let me choose the diamond by myself! :)

Fish v.s.Chinese New Year. Gong Xi Fa Cai.

The word "fish" in Chinese pronunciation is the same as the word "surplus".

To gain safety and luck, Chinese people especially during the new year will speak of good words and get a red envelope from the adult.

Fish is every family must eat on new year's eve, it symbolizes the coming new year will be better.

In my childhood, I love to eat braised fish, though now like the food in light taste.
This is the sea bass with salt and pepper, steamed for 10 minutes, and then put on some lemon slices, chili, green onion, coriander, pepper, with few garlic thin slices.

Seasoned and mix with red snapper, this is the fish I made often.

Put into boiling water for several minutes, seasoned and mixed with lime leaves, lime juice, salt, pepper, chili.

Salmon with onion and capperi is my most frequent favorite dish.

Year ends with ample surplus is just a saying, a good saying with a fish can bring people the power.

In the same time with this Chinese New Year, I also through the fish pronunciation to wish all the bloggers a very ample surplus year, good health with good fortune, and wish all the Chinese friends a very happy Chinese Lunar New Year. 恭喜發財 Gong Xi Fa Cai.新年快樂 .
